October Update
Hello everyone! There aren't much of October's favorites because I was in the process of doing some big things.
I moved! Well…WE moved. Kevin and I moved in together this month! It's an exciting step for both of us. We've graduated, Kevin has a big boy job, I'm working on my career, and we can finally just come home to each other. We decided to move away from LA for many reasons; the biggest was that we wanted a fresh start. I was excited to move to NorCal, my nature scene is a little closer, and the vibes are different. When we went job and apartment hunting, I was slowly falling in love with this place.
This was a big step for me. I moved away from a city I've known all my life, I moved away from my family and friends, and I'm starting fresh in a new place. The comforting thing, I'm not doing it alone. We've been here for about two weeks now, and things are slowly coming together. It's nice to wake up next to your best friend every day, it's nice to walk outside or go somewhere without worry, it's nice to leave the house at 4:30 and find parking at 5 p.m. There are little things that make me happy, and these are some of the things that allow me to have peace of mind. I'm really excited and happy. Kevin joked that I'm in a much better mood and headspace because I didn't curse someone out while driving-a rarity. While this can be a "honeymoon stage," this is something I've looked forward to. I miss my family and I miss my friends but i’m happy for this new journey in my life.
I’m hoping I can start filming some more youtube videos and pick up where I left off in November. I’ll have a quick post about Samhain soon as well.
