I guess this place turned into my mini book of shadows. I like learning about different sabbats a lot, it’s probably one of my favorite things about being an eccletic witch. I’m excited for this sabbath for many reasons. It’s considered the witches new year and we are starting fresh in a new town. It’s also our 4 year anniversary and the beginning of our new adventure living together. I also love Halloween.

Key elements from Samhain:

-release pain and let go of what no longer suits you, much like a full moon does in my opinion.

-it’s the end of an old year and a beginning of a new, welcome the good

It’s also a wonderful time to honor your ancestors. Personally for me, I don’t know mine that very well. It’s family personal reasons but there are two main figures I always think of and it’s my two grandfathers. Never met them, only heard stories about them but, I know I can feel them sometimes. Either way they paved a way for us and it’s important to honor and remember them this day.

One of my favorite people that shares a lot about sabbath and other witch tips is user @simplywitched Alongside reading some good books I love her page content when learning about new things!

It’s also my 4 year anniversary so we took the day slow made griddle cakes and soul cakes. We decided to dress up as Dani from Midsommar and Peter from Hereditary.

Happy Halloween and blessed Samhain everyone! xx
