A Nude Moment

favorite foundation and concealers

Hello lovelies! Since I skipped out on September favorites I thought of doing a full post on my favorite foundations/ concealers. I was looking at my makeup vanity and realized which ones I used often!

I would call my skin color tan. During the winter I can be a little pale but, during the summer months I can get a decent tan. My skin undertones tend to learn more towards the golden/olive side. The foundation and concealer colors varies a little-some are more golden and others a more neutral but, with some good blush and bronzer it’s a flawless base.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue-Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream in Desert 6.5

This is an excellent foundation for no-makeup makeup people. It even has built-in SPF 30, so it’s great if you’re outdoors and want to have some coverage. I like to blend it in with my finger or with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Bare Minerals Bare Pro Concealer in Tan-Warm 09

I just recently bought this concealer and fell in LOVE with it. I’ve always wanted to try to a stick foundation, and concealer and this one was on sale, so I said, why not? It glides on perfectly and blends beautifully with either my finger or buffing brush. I can wear it alone or if I need extra coverage underneath my foundation. It also doesn’t budge and stays on all day.

Colourpop Pretty Fresh- Hyaluronic Acid Tinted Moisturizer in Medium 12W

This one is a goodie! Great beginner foundation for almost anyone. No SPF, but it looks nice on the skin. I like blending it with a real techniques beauty blender. It is also very hydrating with light coverage. It looks like your skin but better! It’s slightly on the lighter side, but I like to mix it in with another tinted foundation to not waste the product and use it all!

Elf Cosmetics Hydrating Camo Concealer Satin Finish in Tan Walnut

Everyone raved about this being similar to Tarte Shape Tape. Ya girl does not have that kind of dough, so a chapter alternative is perfect. The color is a little more on the neutral side, but it gets the job done, especially now since we just wear masks! I use it under my eye and on my forehead since no one will see the rest of my face!

Kosas Revealer Concealer in Tone 06

I fell in LOVE with this one. It is my exact skin tone; it’s my skin but better and lasts all day! When I just need to get out of the door, I dab this one and blend with a real techniques beauty blender! The coverage is nice as well and hides my imperfections and underage bags. Very simple and easy!

Uoma Say What Foundation in Honey Honey T2W

My number one foundation hands down. The coverage is a fantastic medium to full: satin, glowing, and natural. It makes my skin look fantastic, and it doesn’t feel heavy at all. I really love this brand, and their  Stay Woke Concealer in Honey Honey T2W matches perfectly. If I’m going on camera or having a special event, this is the foundation I’m going to use. I use a foundation buffing brush and then use my real techniques beauty blender.

Undone Beauty Unfoundation Glowtint in Caramel Medium

This was another surprise in my makeup bag. It blurs my imperfections, gives me a subtle glow, and is light enough for hot days. This is the tint I mix my Colourpop tinted moisturizer with. I also use my real techniques beauty blender. I don’t need a lot, and it doesn’t rub off that easily. One of my favorites!

Sorry if this sounds repetitive, but these are my holy grail products! Thanks for reading and sticking around! I’m going to be in the middle of moving a little life update, so I may be a bit quiet on here, but I’m excited for what’s to come! Stay well and healthy everyone. Blessed be! xoxo
